Maker Projects the independent production company, today strengthen their team by adding five more directors to the crew. The directors, Amy Watson, Matthew Wood, Andy Saunders, Oli Holt and Mark Jewitt share founding director, Nick Marchant’s, passion for creating exceptional work. Their variety of styles will offer clients a one stop shop when looking for talented filmmakers.
The new team all share the ethos that inspired Maker Projects Founders Thea Burrows and Nick Marchant to start up the production company. Each has something special to offer. Mixing fashion, sport, tourism, food, documentary, music video, art-film and ident, the team display a properly diverse range of skills. As long as there’s a story to tell there’s someone to meet every need, both for commercial and creative work.
Amy has worked with Maker Projects for around a year and has used her talents to create music videos and directing digital campaigns for international fashion brands and has been known to turn around pitches within a day. Matthew brings an understated and beautiful style to the collective that is very observational. Andy is the most established commercials director within Maker and while he’s happy to share his skills is looking forward to getting back to his art and work on less mainstream projects. Oli has naturally progressed into directing from his career in motion graphics where he has worked for brands such as Sony and Umbro. And finally Mark, also from a commercials background, will be joining Maker to exercise his need to create experimental pieces.

We’ve proved how a multi-channel campaign can drive both engagement and revenues for famous high street brands, such as The Body Shop.
