David Cameron sends former boss of tax-dodging Google to the Lords
Joanna Shields, the Prime Minister’s digital adviser who used to be in charge of Google’s Europe division, was among 22 ‘working’ peers nominated by the main political parties.
The list of new Conservative peers also includes Apprentice star Karren Brady, TalkTalk boss Dido Harding and ex-CBI Scotland chief Nosheena Mobarik.
