Native advertising technology platform and network Adyoulike today [17 September, 2014] reported that it has purchased a majority share in London based global video advertising network Video Natives.
London based Video Natives specialises in scalable video advertising, running global campaigns in territories across Europe, North America, Latin America, Australasia, Asia and the Middle East. The company had a turnover in excess of $1M up to the year ending June 2014 and is on trend to hit $2m this year, 233% Year on Year growth.
The purchase of a majority share in the network is part of Adyoulike’s wider European growth strategy, which will see group revenues for 2014 exceed $10M. The purchase also bolsters Adyoulike’s native advertising proposition around video advertising and positions the business positively for the advent of programmatic Real-Time-Bidding (RTB) for the sale and purchase of native advertising.
Commenting, Julien Verdier, @Adyoulike CEO says; “Native advertising is a fast-growing market full of opportunities for innovation. With our investor, Banexi Ventures Partners, we are committed to growing the business and are continually looking to offer exceptional products to our advertisers. Our focus for the second half of the year is on expanding our operations in video, mobile and RTB.
The purchase of a majority share in Video Natives, a successful and profitable start-up operating in the video and programmatic space on a global scale, allows us to build up our capability in this area as the industry progresses to purchase native advertising elements programmatically. Brands and publishers are still a little confused around native and programmatic but the technology is fully responsive and compatible with programmatic.”
Commenting, Andrew Morgan, Video Natives Managing Director; “We are very excited about becoming part of the Adyoulike group. As an innovative start-up operating in the booming native ad space we are looking forward to adding our video advertising and RTB global trading expertise to the overall business. Becoming part of the Adyoulike group will allow us to grow our offering even further in the future. The two companies have a shared goal, a dynamic vision for the future of online advertising and a great team that will constantly innovate in what is undoubtedly one of the most exciting periods to work in online advertising.”
