It’s a swarm of Time Outs : After the successful launch of Time Out Manchester earlier this month, Edinburgh is the second of six cities in the nationwide roll-out. This is followed by the launches of Time Out Leeds and Glasgow in November and Bristol and Birmingham in early 2015. Each city will have its own editor, who will curate content from local experts through the launch of an extensive Time Out blogger network.

Wednesday 29th October 2014: Time Out Group today announces the launch of a brand new website for Edinburgh: timeout.com/edinburgh
The new, mobile responsive site has been created in collaboration with Time Out’s user experience and design partner, UI Centric, and offers the very best inspiration, insider knowledge and up-to-date information for locals and visitors alike.
Combining Time Out’s unique editorial voice with the insight of passionate local experts, Time Out Edinburgh will review the most interesting and exciting events in the city and tap into the heart of the Scottish capital’s cultural community.
The site features a host of content written by local experts on a number of topics including food, drink, music, art, style, comedy and entertainment. All content will be curated by Digital Content Producer and long-term Edinburgh resident, Niki Boyle. Niki was previously Digital Content Editor at The List and will also be Digital Content Producer for TimeOut Glasgow when it launches next month.
Exclusive content for Time Out Edinburgh will be joined by national content from the main Time Out London site including film and music reviews. All content is digital-first to ensure users get the inspiration they need to expand, enrich and enjoy their social lives on the go.
Digital Content Producer for Time Out Edinburgh, Niki Boyle, said: “Edinburgh has always had a well-earned reputation for being a world-class cultural hotspot. From new bars to niche gigs, I’m thrilled to be involved in discovering Edinburgh’s best bits and sharing insider recommendations to showcase what this great city has to offer.”
