Just Eat, the online takeaway service, reported a 50pc increase in like-for-like orders in 2014. http://just-eat.co.uk/
The London-listed company said total orders grew 52pc, including those from its French business Alloresto.fr from July onwards.
David Reynolds, equity analyst at Jefferies, said the update was “very much as expected” after the company reported in November that like-for-like orders grew by 51pc in the third quarter, a similar rate to the previous trading periods.
Just Eat @JustEatUK put the full-year increase down to an ongoing investment in marketing, staff, technology and new products and also credited the wider consumer shift towards ordering food online and on mobile
