Regeneration for real: on the ground and in your mind / Big Green Week Bristol

The BIG Green Schumacher Lecture: The annual Schumacher Society lecture weekend in Bristol is a UK institution.

This year, for BIG Green Week, they are organising not one, but seven separate events over the festival featuring a range of keynote guest speakers. It’s a daily big daddy of an event.

Wednesday 13th June – At-Bristol, 6.00pm – 7.30pm

Regeneration for real – on the ground and in your mind

Speakers:

  • Kevin McLeod – Grand Designs
  • Rob Hopkins – Transition Towns co-founder
  • Tim Smit – founder of the Eden Project

All three speakers personify regeneration – bringing new life. Through Kevin’s work we experience a continuous flow of innovation in design; Rob has brought us the model of the resilient community; and Tim has created one of the most inspiring public projects in the country.
