Given, inset, who previously ran TK Maxx in the UK, took on the job in 2012 to assume some of then chief executive and founder Julian Dunkerton’s responsibilities.
But former Kingfisher and Co-op director Sutherland, above, arrived as boss last year and veteran retail analyst Nick Bubb said: ‘It looks as if she has fallen victim to internal politics, in the wake of Sutherland’s arrival.’
