Standing in a queue for a Big Mac may soon be a thing of the past as McDonald’s brings table service to the UK.
The fast-food giant will roll out the concept in 11 stores across Britain by the end of the month, with customers able to order from staff with tablet computers or at digital kiosks. A waiter will then bring the order to their table.
The trial will begin at a branch in Mottram, Greater Manchester, before the company decides whether to take it nationwide.
