Media alert: Thomson set to brighten up Blue Monday

  • £10,000 of holiday vouchers up for grabs
  • Customers can also save £60 per person on their booking

Leading holiday brand Thomson will be helping people to discover their smile on ‘Blue Monday’ (18th January 2016) by giving away five holiday vouchers worth £2,000 each.

On Blue Monday, which is traditionally the gloomiest day of the year, customers can spread some cheer by sharing selfies of their smile on the travel company’s Facebook (Thomson Holidays) ,Twitter (@ThomsonHolidays) and Instagram (@thomsonholidays) to be in with a chance of winning the prize.

The competition will run from 8am – 8pm and entrants should post their photo along with the hashtag #mademesmile and a story about what made them happy.

Vouchers will be valid for 24 months and can be used on both Thomson and First Choice holidays. Full terms and conditions will be available to view on Thomson’s Facebook page.

Thomson and First Choice customers will also be eligible to save £60 per person on Blue Monday. Customers can enter the promo code ‘BLUE’ to receive the discount on holidays over £2,000, valid for departures from January – October 2016.
