“Challenge” agency Future Thinking has appointed Claudia Strauss as their UK Managing Director.
Claudia’s appointment coincides with the news that Richard Barton (Group MD) and Charlotte Butterworth (Qualitative MD) are to leave Future Thinking to pursue other opportunities.
Claudia initially joined Future Thinking in May 2014 from Burton’s Biscuits Company as Managing Director of FMCG & Shopper (Launch). Her new role sees her take overall responsibility for running and growing the company’s entire UK business.
As part of the re-organisation, Rebecca Ironside will become Managing Director, Qualitative; whilst Ian Hext takes over Claudia’s role as Managing Director, Launch.
Jon Priest comments: “I am delighted to appoint Claudia to the role of UK Managing Director. Claudia has strong business acumen and the right blend of talents suited to this role. She has a clear strategic vision for how our business will continue to grow and drive the future of insight for current and prospective clients. I am also delighted that Rebecca and Ian have agreed to take on the challenge of their respective roles. I have no doubt the business and our clients will benefit from their collective experience and insightfulness going forwards.
”Commenting on her appointment, Claudia Strauss said: “It’s a real honour to be in the UK MD seat at such an exciting time for Future Thinking.
We have already put a new structure in place to better serve our growing client base and with a clear vision, empowered leadership team and commitment to insight generating innovation; we will achieve our mission to be a positive force for change in the world of consumer and business intelligence.
