While 30% of global PR firms are run by women, according to the World PR Report, produced by the Holmes report in conjunction with ICCO, it is rare to find one with an all-female board. The Oracle Group, which combines property expertise with PR and marketing, hopes to set an example as it appoints an all-female board to drive the strategic direction and growth of its business.
With a growing workforce, Oracle Group’s founder and Group Managing Director, Caroline Coskry, has elected a board of directors to join her in overseeing the company. Claire Grant, Zoe Murzell, Jaclyn Thorburn and Kathryn Reucroft have all worked with Caroline for many years and together have over 70 years of combined experience designing and delivering PR, events, marketing and digital strategies for all facets of the property industry.
The Epsom-based firm that celebrates its fifth birthday this month is responsible for creating and developing PR and marketing strategies for a number of top housebuilders and property businesses including Countryside, Bellway, Berkeley, L&Q and Notting Hill Housing.
Caroline Coskry, Group Managing Director of The Oracle Group, comments: “I am incredibly proud of how the company has grown over the last five years and excited by our future prospects. Our staff our absolutely key to our success and in order to continue to move forward, I decided it was time to elect a board of directors who I knew could work with me to drive the company further.
Together, we make a reliable and strong team who work to ensure our values are consistent throughout the company, particularly as we continue to expand our staffing numbers and market outreach.”
Oracle Group was named one of the UK’s fastest-growing women-led businesses in 2015 and listed at #17 in the 2015 Fortuna 50 list, which is accredited by former Prime Minister David Cameron, and was the highest ranking PR firm on the list. At the time, the Prime Minister commented: “I hope that by showcasing your success other women who are thinking about starting a business will have the confidence to turn their ideas into reality.”
The company was founded in 2011 and has moved from a purely PR business with three members of staff to a full marketing and communications offering with 18 members of staff working across PR, marketing, events, digital and social media for property companies across London and the Home Counties.
Oracle works on everything from ad hoc projects, such as search engine marketing, online advertising, award-entries and press releases to fully-integrated, long term, strategic PR and marketing campaigns. The company also provides support for a number of trade associations, industry events and award ceremonies.
