The Brand Union appoints Development Director

Global brand consultancy The Brand Union has further strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Tim Hill as Development Director.

Tim is a leading industry expert and commentator who has built a storied career at some of the world’s leading agencies. He has held senior positions at Lambie Nairn, Coley Porter Bell, and Turquoise, and spent five years on the senior management team at Futurebrand, part of the InterPublic Group. Tim joins The Brand Union from Siegel + Gale, where he was responsible for pan-European marketing and business development strategy.

Tim will be based at The Brand Union in London, where he will lead business development, marketing, and communications strategy as well as manage the agency’s profile and reputation.

The appointment follows a number of senior creative and management hires at The Brand Union London earlier this year, as well as the unveiling of a new partnership model with interaction design and technology specialist Digit, which strengthens the client offering in developing cutting edge consumer experiences for brands.

Toby Southgate, CEO, UK & Ireland, comments, “Tim is a real impact player. He brings huge depth of experience, he’s worked with global brands across multiple sectors, and he’s helped to establish reputation and knowledge at the C suite level. As The Brand Union grows into a dynamic force creating resonant and effective experiences for brands, Tim’s role will be key in identifying where and how we can add real commercial value for our clients.”

Tim adds, “This year is a pivotal one in the evolution of The Brand Union and it’s tremendously exciting time to be joining such a dynamic and forward thinking agency. I really look forward to working with the many smart and talented people in the agency and hopefully playing a key role in its future success”.
