The new look website is now live and can be visited at the existing web address www.kempton.co.uk
Kempton Park has evolved as London’s premier all-weather racing, business and entertainment venue over recent years. Management, at the racecourse, identified a growing requirement to provide a new and improved website that gave customers and stakeholders a one-stop window offering relevant event information that was easy to access and understand.
Kindred Agency, a specialist advertising, branding, design, digital and social media agency were selected to create and build an innovative new website. Kindred incorporated their approach of engaging with customers, drawn on experience from across the digital spectrum, into the design of the improved site. The new Kempton Park website’s aim is to drive traffic, build loyalty, increase sales and achieve a higher return on marketing investment.
Kempton Park’s new website has a variety of engaging new functions enabling users to interact directly with the racecourse. New functions include a new ‘Take a tour’ option, featuring the racecourse Sales Director guiding people around the racecourse and its facilities. There are new simple to complete enquiry forms for customers to fill in and send directly to the Kempton Park events team to enquire about race day hospitality, holding a conference, or hosting a wedding.
Additionally there is a new downloadable map of the racecourse for customers to familiarise themselves with the site before their visit as well as guides to help educate people who are new to racing about how to bet and what to look for in a horse.
Up-to-the-minute news section
Kindred’s digital team understand the complexities of today’s online channels and incorporated this into the website design offering real time social media feeds from Kempton Park’s Facebook and Twitter profiles. There is an up-to-the-minute news section, displaying the latest news from Kempton Park and an easy to read event calendar displaying information about all public events, including the weekly outdoor market and antiques fair, held twice a month.
To keep customers informed and up-to-date with everything that is going on at the Sunbury venue there are photo galleries in each of the main sections, providing a real insight into racing and events at Kempton Park. Details about Kempton Park’s work in the local community and environmental efforts are featured and a new easily accessible FAQs & enquiries tab to help visitors to the site with any questions they may have.
The website is the first stage in Kempton Park delivering a class-leading user experience in digital communications. Looking forward further integration with social platforms, email and mobile will create new ways to engage with both new and existing audiences, helping to drive commercial benefit.
Amy Starkey, Managing Director of Kempton Park Racecourse, said: “We are delighted to launch a new and improved company website that will provide an effective and cohesive customer experience across the business. We encourage everybody to visit the new site and engage with the team at Kempton Park who continue to lead the way in providing a quality events venue”.
