Impulse has launched a TV and online campaign for its new Why Not? fragrance starring Leanne Lim-Walker, a YouTube fashion blogger who embodies the brand personality perfectly. The film brings the brand’s “Live Life on Impulse” proposition to life.
Impulse challenged the fashionista to a ‘Week of Why Not’, which sees her take on a series of challenges over the course of 7 days. Each one designed to help her discover new experiences and embrace spontaneity, from meringue making and learning to skateboard to trying her hand at playing the ukulele.
The film was created with its audience’s love of candid blogger videos in mind. To give the content a very intimate and authentic feel TMW Unlimited created the film in-house through the agency’s production department and worked with Lim-Walker to capture shots in her own unique style.
The campaign centres on a TV ad featuring teaser clips from the video and will run across the Bauer TV network on 4Music, MTV, Kiss, Kerrang, Heat and The Box from Saturday August 13th.
Lim-Walker’s film will also run on a dedicated online hub at www.livelifeonimpulse.co.uk. Once inspired by Lim-Walker fans can also visit the hub for their chance to live life on Impulse with weekly activities, such as a holiday with friends and VIP Zoo Sleepover, entered through a prize draw.
