The London Evening Standard has published its eagerly awaited Progress 1000 list, this year in partnership with Citi, and supported by Berkeley Group.
The Progress 1000, now in its 10th year, is a prestigious celebration of the people whose influence across many spheres of London life is felt most keenly by those who live in the city. Many of those included in the list from the worlds of art, science, business, media, politics and technology gathered this evening at a glittering event at London’s iconic Science Museum.

This year, the list has a particular focus on the power of mathematics as a driving force behind much of modern London – in science and technology, but also in art, design and infrastructure.
The ‘Newsmakers’ category (Media Chiefs, Editors & Journalists, Brand Builders) has this year recognised names including: Tracey De Groose, UK Chief Executive, Dentsu Aegis Network; Paul Frampton, Chief Executive, Havas Media Group UK & Ireland and Lord Hall, Director-General BBC.
